It is a non-intrusive, cost-effective remedy for the clean up of these hydrocarbons. These hydrocarbons include but are not limited to gasoline, #2 up to #6 diesel fuel, jet fuels, kerosene, lubricating oils, hydraulic oils and crude oils.
	S-200 is a white water liquid and as such can be sprayed with traditional liquid spraying equipment, such as: pressurized sprayers or backpack sprayers. The recommended application rate is approximately 1 to 1 by weight of the S-200 as compared to the hydrocarbon being remediated. In other words, use 1 pound of S-200 for every 1 pound of hydrocarbon you are remediating. For applications on water, first, stop the spill and clean up as much free product as possible with skimmers, mechanical equipment, etc. Once that is resolved, apply S-200 to the surface of the hydrocarbon/water mixture. On a square footage application, the amount to use is approximately 1 to 10 pounds of S-200 for every square yard of surface area.
